Prepare for class by watching the TED talk by Jinsop Lee called; Design for the 5 Senses (9:04)
We will do a survey of our own in class....if we have time. :)
...we will start class with the last five TED5 presentations.
They are;
1. Junhee Yoon talking about advertising.
2. Tae kyung Lee talking about bullying.
3. Hyung sub Kim talking about reading a book.
4. Young jun Bae talking about KATUSA.
5. Min hye Kim talking about Smiles.
* If you were absent from class on Oct.25, you will need to let me know before class if you want to do your presentation on Nov.01. You will, however, need a note from your doctor/hospital explaining why you were absent.
Also on Nov. 01...
- Bring your Personal draft for TED10 (sketch of your idea)
- Be prepared to do your Show and Tell-4

about Gachon News..
They can plan a blind date. Someone who is lonely advertise himself or herself in a small section of the paper with profile, such as face pic, age, hobby, ideal type, and etc. Then, there will be some people who want to date with advertised boy or girl. And they can match each other. It is silly but interesting. Also it'll work for lonely people, especially Sean Kim!!!! We can help him!
All presentations were SO GREAT. Especially, I like the presentations about parachuting, gachon news and lonely life.
ReplyDeleteThe presentation about parachuting, it was exciting. I had no idea about parachuting before I watched his presentation(sorry, don't know his name) and he showed us how to do it himself there it was really amazing. it attracted everyone's attention and helped us understand more easily.
Gachon news presentation was interesting and schoking at the same time. Some of us even didn't know where the gachon newspaper is. It made me interested in it.
Lonely life presentation from 정훈, I think he did a really good job. He didn't even look at the paper this time so I could tell he practiced a lot. I was impressed.
***oh, the experiment was adorable. Too sad it was shaken on the bus.
and for Joy, I think they need to advertise more. The problem is students even don't know they exist... Why don't you putting the newspaper on the bulletin board? I mean, maybe one sheet of paper? If students know about it more, they will be interested more.

ReplyDeleteFor Joy.... I remember seeing newspapers displayed in a big case in front of the news building near Seoul city hall. Every time I pass that display board there are people standing there reading the news. I think this is a good way to get the news directly in front of a lot of potential readers.
